I spent 4 weeks reading the fish oil evidence. Here's what I found.

Reading time: 1 min

I spent about 4 weeks going through the omega-3 and fish oil literature.

Trials, meta-analyses, prescribing data, supplement labels. What was supposed to be a straightforward guide kept forcing me to say "it's complicated" at every turn.

It's finished. 5,000+ words. 24 citations. Covers what omega-3s actually do, who benefits, who doesn't, the dosing evidence, safety risks most content skips, and how to read a fish oil label without getting ripped off.

It lives on my Substack because it's a different format and a different beast.
